Creatively cloned chalk portrait in Photoshop: CS6 or CC (TAQTV+)

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create beautiful chalk portraits in Photoshop, step-by-step, directly from a digital photograph. Because we’re using my Photoshop clone-sketching techniques here, you don’t have to be skilled in the art of drawing. The clone-sketch method we’ll use here, provides you will all the actual tonality of of subject, leaving you free to concentrate simply on the marks you make to build the final drawing.
If you’ve always longed to draw portraits, but you’ve been nervous about working completely freehand, then this tutorial is for you!

During the tutorial, we’ll build a custom brush, using the Mixer Brush Tool, set up the required layer structure, and gradually build the portrait through every stage, starting with a loose outline sketch, and then building on this using the power of clone-sketching.
You’ll be amazed by your results!
